The story takes place in 1867 when an unknown sea monster rose up and attacked the ships that were passing by. The news about it spread to different countries. The American government chartered a frigate with brave crew of three people to hunt for this terrifying creature. On board of the ship there were Professor Aronnax, Conseil, his faithful assistant, and Ned Land, the spear-fisherman. There were also lots of different weapons and the crew was ready to use them at any time. However, they had been sailing for five months already and no sea monster had been spotted so far. Description of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
Based on Jules Verne's classic sci-fi story of the same name, this game faithfully captures the atmosphere and plot of the novel despite simplistic puzzles and banal dialogues. However, there are a few plot twists to keep fans of the novel curious to the end.
Features some of the most obscure and convoluted puzzles that would become one of Coktel Vision's legacy.
